Elizabeth C Murray

Emmy Award-winning editor, Elizabeth is fluent in both English and Spanish. Elizabeth holds an MA in Media Studies from New School University, a Certificate in Journalism from New York University and a B.A. in Communications from Universidad de Lima, Peru.

Elizabeth produced and directed long and short format films in Lima, Peru before relocating to New York in 2002 to complete her graduate studies in television and film.

In 2007, Elizabeth joined Bloomberg Television in NYC headquarters. She received kudos for editing a profile feature on Warren Buffett, one of the world’s most successful investors, which helped secure Bloomberg’s first one-hour exclusive interview with Buffett. Elizabeth also won the Los Angeles Press Club, National Entertainment Award for best feature Television Show “Muse”.

In 2009, she started ECM Productions dedicated to provide content for various media and corporate companies such as BBC, TruTV, SBDC, SVC Strategic Communications and so on.

In 2010, Elizabeth edited a thirty-minute special to celebrate Women’s History Month “NYC Women: Make it Here, Make it Happen”, a documentary that chronicles the path that each woman took to make their dreams come true.

Following her exploratory nature and embracing the new wave of reality television, Elizabeth joined Atlas Media in 2011 venturing in new genres such as reality tv, magazines, talk shows. In 2015, Elizabeth won an Emmy on Multicamera editing with The Rachael Ray show, and was nominated again in 2023.

Elizabeth’s worldly experience combined with her exposure to a variety of TV genres including advertising, news magazine, documentary, reality television, and digital gives her a variety of unique skills.
